Respiratory Department Services
Bunkie General Hospital’s Respiratory Department consists of a team of dedicated professionals who provide specialized care for patients with breathing problems. Whether you have asthma, COPD, pneumonia, or any other respiratory condition, we are here to help you breathe easier and improve your quality of life.
We work closely with your doctors and nurses to create a personalized treatment plan that suits your needs and goals. We also educate you and your family about your condition and how to manage it at home. Our staff is friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable. We are dedicated to providing patients in our community with compassionate, quality care close to home.
Outpatient Services
There is no need to have your outpatient respiratory tests taken care of out of town, even if you use a doctor from another area. We accept all physicians’ orders and most insurance carriers. Walk-ins are welcome between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Our Respiratory Therapy Department offers a range of outpatient services, such as:
- EKGs
- 6 Minute Walk Test
- Pulmonary Function Testing (Spirometry, Diffusion Studies, Body Plethysmography)
- Holter Monitor Recording (24 hrs up to 15 days)
